What I got upto for Diwali! ðŸŽ‰ðŸ’¥

Hey!

With Diwali upon us, it’s been nothing but indulgence into some of the most delicious Indian sweets, playing around with coloured powders creating traditional rangolis and creating henna tattoo designs to stain the hands for a gorgeous brown/orange pattern.

I recently purchased some henna/mehndi cones from @hennavisa on Instagram. I have been following her for a few years now and the flow/stain of her mendhi is amazing! I thought this year, after developing my confidence in designing henna patterns, I would buy her cones and try them out for myself!

The stain was incredible!

We also decorated some rangoli boards with coloured powders for this festive occasion. It’s so much fun but it can get pretty messy so be sure to lay out a tonne of newspaper before starting! We decorated with some tealight candles to finish off the design.

And of course, to start the Hindu New Year with a bang, some fireworks had to be done!

Happy Diwali and Happy New Year!

Do you celebrate Diwali? What do you do to celebrate and what is your favourite food to eat during Diwali?
