Hey guys!
I know it’s been a while since my last post but I promise I have a good reason 🙂 – around three weeks ago I turned 21 and about 4 days after that I was jetting off on holiday to India and Dubai for a couple of weeks, so haven’t really had a moment to pause and breathe until now!
Whilst I was in Dubai (vlog coming soon!), it was of course mandatory to make that all important trip to Sephora! (For all of us beauty loving UK residents who pray for a Sephora store to open here, isn’t a trip to Sephora just what we live for!?)
So you could say I went a little crazy but really I only picked up the “necessities” haha! Most of what I picked up was from Kat Von D as that and Anastasia Beverly Hills were the only couple of brands you can’t get here in the UK. One of my all time favourites from Kat Von D are her Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks and since trying the gorgeous medium-dark pinky-red Bachelorette about a year ago and loving the formula, application and longevity of wear, I knew it was time to pick up a few more shades from the range! Liquid lipsticks have become so popular at the moment and every make up brand has started coming up with their own formulas, but I think the Kat Von D’s are my favourite that I’ve tried so far!
The pigmentation is long lasting and really comfortable to wear. It dries to a true matte finish and lasts for upto 8 hours but I’d definitely say to use a moisturiser on the lips before application, as it can tend to be slightly drying after a little while.
Here’s the shades I picked up:

Bachelorette – described as a “dark reddish fuchsia” – so great when on holiday to bring a nice pop of colour to the face!
Bahau 5 – described as a “deep raspberry” – I’d say it comes out a little more like a purple-ish berry on my skin tone rather than a deeper shade.
Lolita – described as a “chestnut rose” – the perfect dusty pink/browny-nude, great with any outfit or make up look and perfect on any skin tone!
Nosferatu – described as “blood crimson” – a beautiful burnt orange with brown undertones.
Exorcism – described as “ripe blackberry” – I absolutely love this shade! It such an elegant bold lip shade – great winter colour!
Have you guys tried these cult favourite liquid lipsticks? What shades have you tried and what’s on your Sephora wishlist?
